Halloween Community Update

Halloween Community Update

As Halloween celebrations continue across the area this weekend, officers remain committed to keeping our communities safe and preventing anti-social behaviour.

A Section 34 Dispersal Order remains in place for Hoo St Werburgh and Chattenden throughout the weekend, giving officers additional powers to direct individuals involved in, or likely to be involved in, anti-social behaviour to leave the area. Officers will also patrol other areas of the Peninsula throughout the weekend.

We are also pleased to be supported by our Special Constables, who will be assisting with patrols this evening to provide a highly visible police presence and offer reassurance to residents.

Following continued patrols and engagement with the public last night, no incidents were reported, which is a positive result and a testament to the support and cooperation of the community.

We would like to thank residents, parents, and young people for helping to ensure Halloween remains an enjoyable occasion for everyone. Officers will continue to patrol throughout the weekend and will take action where necessary to deal with anti-social behaviour.

If you witness any incidents or have concerns, please report them to us. In an emergency, always dial 999.

Stay safe and have a happy Halloween. 🎃👮‍♂️

Kind Regards,

Josh
